COVID-19 – Update & FAQ

As the health and safety of our students and staff are our priority, EFI is closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak. EFI continues to follow the guidelines and regulations outlined by the Cambodian government, the Ministry of Health, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the French Embassy and the Pasteur Institute of Cambodia.

EFI has been one of the first schools in Cambodia to reopen. Thus we could have our Back-to-School day on August 24 as planned.

EFI signed a MoU with the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports and with the Ministry of Health implementing a strict health and safety protocol in order to keep ous school community safe.

You can access to the campus only if you have an appointment. You need to provide a passport or an ID card, mask, hand sanitation and temperature check are mandatory to enter.

We are in close contact with the French Embassy, ​​the United States Embassy, ​​the Pasteur Institute of Cambodia and WHO (World Health Organization) who keep us regularly informed and updated about the situation in Cambodia. In addition, Doctor Haiko Van Der Marel has been appointed medical consultant for EFI and CIS and also guides us about the measures that should be taken.
