AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad)

 

Since August 2025, EFI has been a partner of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). This global network brings together more than 600 primary, secondary, and high schools in 138 countries, offering education that meets the requirements of the French National Education system and embodies humanist values, openness, and excellence.

This accreditation guarantees the educational quality of EFI’s 100% French program, while allowing students seamless mobility within the network of French institutions abroad or in France.

Cambridge Assessment International Education

EFI has been accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education in January 2022 and thus join the leading international schools network in the world. Cambridge International prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. At EFI, Cambridge curriculum will be combined with the French Ministry of Education programs in order to offer a unique blended learning experience that helps students discover new abilities and a wider world, and gives them the skills they need for life, so they can achieve at school, university, and work.

Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance

From school year 2021-2022, EFI is contracted with CNED – Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance, an accreditation body of the French Ministry of National Education. The CNED/EFI partnership for middle school students is a guarantee of excellence; in addition to the courses given by EFI teachers, students benefit from the CNED which regularly supervises the evaluations and ensures that the French curriculum is properly acquired. The exams for the “Diplôme National du Brevet” are carried out at the Phnom Penh examination center, dependent on the Montpellier Academy, and validated by the French National Education.
